HEALTH FAIR EXPO 2000
brings vital preventative health care screenings to Southland Communities on Apr 7-9 and 14-16. At 34 health fair sites, a large variety of medical screenings will be available to the public free of charge or for a minimal cost, marking 23 years of providing life-saving information.

In response to the more than 24 million women in the US reaching 50 this year, Health Fair Expo will also provide information and/or screenings for osteoporosis, hormone replacement therapy, breast and cervical cancer prevention and body-mass index (BMI). “Moderne” Library at risk A citizens committee is organizing efforts to save the Woodland Hills Library. They ask all interested parties to please "express your concern to the Woodland Hills City Council over this building's demise. Mid-Century modern architecture has become extremely rare in L.A. Woodland Hills should be proud to know they are custodians of an outstanding remaining example of this style. Please encourage the City Council to consider adaptive reuse of this building and/or incorporating it as part of the new library development."
